The Fallen: Star Trek: DS9

Page 1

If a game is coming in the Spring 2000 one would think it's about time to move the advertising into high gear, right?  If so, someone better page the guys over at Simon and Schuster and let them know The Fallen is quickly turning into the Klingon Honor Guard of 2000.  What completely baffles me about this game is the fact that Simon and Schuster doesn't even realize what its core competency is, except for a brief mention at the bottom of the page, which reads: Utilizes an enhanced version of the Unreal Tournament engine.  Here is a game that uses the engine from one of last year's best games, and they don't even include screenshots?  What's worse is that the background of the ad is some hodgepodge of murky red and brown textures; the game's name doesn't even pop out at you, and the Star Trek name is completely de-emphasized.  What exactly is there to get excited about in this ad?  This ad deserves to be warped right into a black hole.
