With bright colors and two huge screenshots, who could flip past this ad for Will Wright's new people simulator The Sims?   The ad effectively conveys the notion that players can customize the game to their liking, as evidenced by the tagline (raise..or raze a family) that admits you can create a prosperous domicile or one engulfed in complete chaos.  In addition, the text in the ad is smart, snappy, and quickly gets you excited about the endless possibilities the game presents. (Who wouldn't be excited by reading, "Watch your Sims self-destruct!")   I hope that future ads for the game will also beef up on mentions of the thriving online community and all the user-created downloads, which will no doubt help The Sims be a game most will still play for many months to come.
